Not All Health Issues are Bad

Growing up, it’s safe to say that many of us @KhaleejiGirls have been taught the importance of taking care of our health right? We’ve been told that it’s always, always, always going to be vital for a @KhaleejiGirl to take care of her health in all aspects right? And that the mental health is just as important to a @KhaleejiGirl’s well-being as her physical health is right? In times like these, yes it’s important to take care of your health. However, oddly enough, recent research shows that this traditional way of thinking may have been wrong all this time.

This research comes from Entrepreneur Magazine that shows how undergoing stressful situations over a short period of time is actually good for you. Why? It’s because dealing with stress in smaller doses can be beneficial for your health.

According to a study conducted by Kristen Aschbacher, assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of California, a small amount of stress over a short period in comparison to a longer period can send signals to your body and boost its functionality. In fact, small doses of the inevitable condition of stress can lead to higher brain functionality along with overall health.

The good news is, the different types of stress you may go through are something every @KhaleejiGirl has in common with the next. These include, mental, emotional, even physical kind of stress. A @KhaleejiGirl is not alone when she is stressing out in any and all of the different forms that stress comes in. For throughout the journey of every @KhaleejiGirl she stumbles upon these kinds of stresses and more at one point of her life or another.

The common symptoms of stress a @KhaleejiGirl deals with in one can be:

  1. Mental symptoms: These may take time to form their shape. They include confusion, lack of memory, and lack of engagement in comparison to how you as a @KhaleejiGirl may have been before.
